I believe in preserving our natural beauty and increasing support for green initiatives that help cool El Paso's urban environments By advocating for continued funding and expansion of these programs, we can ensure a sustainable future and improve the quality of life for all residents. Furthermore, I am committed to launching a pilot program, utilizing alternative funding sources, to cool El Paso's urban environment by applying reflective coatings to roads and using reflective materials to reduce heat absorption. Together, we can maintain a clean, healthy, and cooler environment for all residents."

Waste Management

"I strongly support programs dedicated to cleaning and beautifying El Paso and advocate for enhancing efforts to keep our city litter-free. Additionally, I believe in imposing tougher local ordinances on those who litter or engage in illegal dumping while supporting initiatives that actively identify and penalize offenders. Furthermore, I support holding companies, including contractors, accountable for their trash accumulation by enhancing contract rules to ensure they manage waste properly. It is also crucial to ensure that contracted waste companies effectively perform their duties through regular inspections, clear penalties for non-compliance, and performance reviews."
